Linda painting

Linda painting on site in Sonoma

My paintings are about the beauty of the California coastal valleys and seashores. As a native, I want to preserve the images and the feeling of living in this diverse part of the world. Mornings are my best time to capture the beauty of coastal seascapes, local ranches and small wineries tucked away in the rolling hills of Sonoma County, where the right compositions satisfy my artist's eye. On location, I use an impressionistic style, working with oil. Not only does painting enable me to see, but also to know the place I am painting.
